Wright<\/strong> \u00e9s professor de qu\u00edmica a la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Universitat de St Andrews<\/a>. Des que es va incorporar a la facultat, ha tingut un grup pr\u00f2sper, que es reflecteix en un ampli ventall de publicacions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La investigaci\u00f3 realitzada al grup es refereix al disseny racional de nous s\u00f2lids per utilitzar-los com a adsorbents i catalitzadors de forma selectiva. Els materials d&#8217;inter\u00e8s inclouen zeolites microporoses, aluminofosfats, aluminofosfonats, h\u00edbrids org\u00e0nics inorg\u00e0nics i s\u00edlices mesoporoses. Es pot conferir una funcionalitat addicional a aquests materials introduint modificacions, per exemple, a les parets dels porus, l&#8217;addici\u00f3 de cations met\u00e0l\u00b7lics o la incorporaci\u00f3 de fragments org\u00e0nics (com ara enzims o complexos met\u00e0l\u00b7lics) a l&#8217;estructura\/porus durant o despr\u00e9s de la s\u00edntesi. Aleshores es poden estudiar i avaluar les propietats catal\u00edtiques i d&#8217;absorci\u00f3.
