Hycool_IT delegates participated in the 4th Smart Energy Cluster Collaboration Workshop, the session was held on the third of February. The session was full of inspiring new projects and ideas, and we already identified several projects with strong similarities and clear potential for synergies.
Hycool_IT is part of the Smart Energy Cluster from the very beginning of the project and we have been involved in the cluster activities with enthusiasm. The Smart Energy Cluster can be defined as a growing collaborative force for the energy transition. In this sense to make the smart energy transition a reality, a network of EU projects has come together under the SmartEnergyCluster, supporting one another in developing, designing, and deploying innovative business models and concepts that fully unlock the economic potential and broader benefits of integrated energy services.
Three years after its founding and the launch of a dedicated website, the cluster continues to grow its impact—bridging the gap between research, policy, and market-ready energy solutions.
The path to a climate-neutral Europe is not a journey one can take alone. It demands coordinated action across digitalisation, building renovation, consumer engagement, and grid flexibility. This is the guiding principle of the Smart Energy Cluster—a collaborative platform now expanded to include 35 active projects and 23 completed ones.
Working together through dissemination, communication, and exploitation of project results, the cluster aims to engage shared target audiences and amplify the impact of each initiative. Together, they are driving the integration of smart energy services, reducing end-user energy costs, and shortening investment payback periods—delivering tangible benefits across the energy transition.
