DYMAN participates in Bridge’s working group on consumer and citizen participation
Stakeholder participation is essential to the project’s success and to achieving long-term impact. In this regard, the DYMAN project recently contributed to the work of the BRIDGE initiative by presenting its approach, strategy, and experience during a dedicated project presentation session within the working group on consumer and citizen participation. The BRIDGE initiative brings together Horizon Europe projects working on smart grids, energy storage, digitalisation, and energy systems, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment across thematic areas. Engagement strategies are a key topic within BRIDGE, as projects increasingly operate in complex ecosystems involving industry, public authorities, researchers and end users. DYMAN’s presentation focused on communication actions and explaining how stakeholder engagement can support collaboration, acceptance of results and the long-term sustainability of DYMAN’s solutions. A strategic approach to engagement During the session, DYMAN highlighted the importance of early and continuous stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle. It enables stakeholders to actively contribute to shaping solutions, ensuring their relevance and usability. The presentation described how DYMAN identifies and maps key stakeholder groups, including data centre operators, technology providers, researchers, policy makers and energy system stakeholders. By understanding their roles, needs and expectations, the project tailors its
