Dyman third general assembly in Mönchengladbach

Dyman Project EU partners gathered together at Sorption Technologies GmbH in Mönchengladbach, Germany to discuss the next steps on the projects objectives. During the first day of the meeting We focussed on issues related to the system ICT control tools, the advances on  the demonstration and virtual validation, and the chiller prototype: We also enjoy visiting the company’s facilities and having a close look at the technical developments. The BDTA delegates explained how they are working on the simulation models and also BDTA) said they are working on how to represent the performance curves inside the ontology. We also learnt Design of the two-phase flow heat transfer are ongoing.

The project officer joined the meeting and mentioned that DYMAN is a short project and that we need to focus on exploitation and our internal IPR strategy to ensure the success of the project. She knows we are doing an effort on standardisation too.

The team is working to optimize chiller cooling systems by matching actual usage patterns rather than worst-case scenarios, with focus on intelligent, adaptive control systems.  We are also moving towards a power-based control strategy that is faster and more predictable than temperature-based monitoring, enabling proactive cooling management.

During the second day the discussions have been focussed on the exploitation activities as well as on the project management and the actions and activities we must consider to make the project well-known and to promote its results. We are looking forward showing the next advances soon.

Dyman project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme under Grant Agreement No. 101161930.
